Oxygen chamber therapy for kidneys? small study ends early
NCT ID NCT03376282
First seen May 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study looked at whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy (breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber) could help people with diabetic kidney disease. The goal was to see if it could improve kidney function and reduce protein in the urine. Only 7 people took part, and the study was stopped early, so we don't have clear answers.
