Summary
This study aims to reduce suffering for adults in the intensive care unit (ICU) by having palliative care specialists consult on their care. Researchers will track how long patients stay in the ICU and whether the consultations help them leave sooner. The study involves about 2,040 participants across multiple hospitals.
