Summary

This study tests a program to improve palliative care in intensive care units (ICUs). The program includes remote consultations with palliative care experts, training for ICU staff, and checklists to identify patients who need extra support. Researchers will track 2040 patients to see if this approach reduces time in the ICU and overall suffering.
