New pill could ease nerve pain after spinal injury

Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new drug called EC5026 for nerve pain caused by spinal cord injury. About 36 adults with this type of pain will take either the drug or a placebo daily for 14 days. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and tolerable, while also seeing if it helps reduce pain.
