New study explores the hidden struggles of skin cancer patients in making tough treatment decisions

NCT ID NCT05482880

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at how people with a serious type of skin cancer on the head or neck feel about their treatment choices, their quality of life, and their satisfaction with care. Researchers asked 78 patients to fill out questionnaires to measure these feelings. The goal was to learn more about what matters to patients, not to test a new treatment.
