Summary

This study tests whether using very cold water (around 2-5°C) to rinse the tooth during a root canal can lower pain after the procedure. Sixty adults with an infected tooth will be randomly assigned to get either room-temperature or cold rinse. Their pain will be checked before the treatment and again at 24 and 48 hours. The goal is to find a simple way to make root canals more comfortable.

Inclusion Criteria: Individual (male/female) with age \>18 years with symptomatic apical periodontitis in permanent teeth Exclusion Criteria: 1.
