First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study compares a new regenerative approach using injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) to standard retreatment for teeth with persistent infection after a root canal. 140 adults with single-rooted front teeth will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments and followed for two years. The goal is to see if the regenerative method leads to better healing, less pain, and longer tooth survival.
