First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested a type of talking therapy called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help adults in Turkey who were struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression after the 2023 earthquakes. 36 survivors took part, with some receiving CPT and others getting usual care. The goal was to see if CPT could reduce distress and improve well-being, helping to guide a larger future study.
