New hope for earthquake survivors: therapy eases PTSD and depression

Summary
This study tested a talking therapy called Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help adults in Turkey who were struggling with PTSD, anxiety, and depression after the February 2023 earthquakes. 36 survivors took part, and the therapy aimed to reduce their distress and improve well-being. The results will guide a larger study to confirm if CPT is effective for this group.
