Summary

This study tests whether special dressings made from donated human umbilical cord tissue, used along with standard wound care, can help close hard-to-heal leg ulcers faster than standard care alone. About 272 adults with venous leg ulcers that have not healed after 4 to 52 weeks of standard treatment will take part. The main goal is to see if more ulcers close completely within 12 weeks using the cord-based dressings.
