First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests a program called CONNECT that helps women and Black/Latino adults learn about and join heart health research. About 1,000 adults with heart disease or risk factors like high blood pressure or diabetes will receive text messages with health info and study opportunities for 12 months. The goal is to see if this approach makes clinical trials more diverse and builds trust in research.
