Hope for Hard-to-Treat lung infection: old drug shows promise

Summary

This study tests a drug called clofazimine to see if it can help people with a stubborn lung infection caused by Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC). About 102 adults with confirmed MAC lung disease will receive the drug. The goal is to see if it clears the infection from sputum and improves walking ability and fatigue.
