First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding cilostazol to aspirin or clopidogrel can prevent another stroke or heart attack in people who have already had a stroke or mini-stroke. About 2,000 adults who had a stroke within the last 6 months and are already on one blood thinner will take either cilostazol or a placebo. The goal is to see if the combination reduces major cardiovascular events without causing dangerous bleeding.
