Summary
This study tested whether a chicken extract and a peptide supplement could help prevent memory and thinking decline in older adults without dementia. 276 people aged 55-75 with either mild memory concerns or mild cognitive impairment took the supplements or a placebo for two years. The goal was to see if these supplements could slow down changes in the brain linked to aging and Alzheimer's disease.
