First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 34 times

Summary

This study tests a new pacing method called anodal biphasic pacing (ABP) for people who need a pacemaker. Researchers want to see if ABP works as well or better than current pacing, and if it can improve heart function and reduce problems like inflammation or heart failure. About 108 adults will take part during planned heart procedures or pacemaker replacements.
