NCT ID NCT07173777

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests a new way to pace the heart called anodal biphasic pacing (ABP). It aims to see if ABP works as well as or better than current pacing methods, potentially improving heart function and reducing problems like inflammation or heart failure. About 108 adults who need a heart procedure or have a pacemaker will take part. The new method uses a different electrical waveform to stimulate the heart more gently.
