Summary

This study looked at whether combining Buteyko breathing exercises with balance training could improve how well young adult smokers use oxygen during exercise. Forty-six male smokers aged 18-30 took part. One group did the breathing and balance exercises for 6 weeks, while the other group did nothing. The results showed that the exercise group improved their oxygen consumption and other measures of fitness.
