Zapping the brain to fight memory loss
NCT ID NCT03331796
Summary
This study tested whether a noninvasive brain stimulation technique could improve memory in older adults with mild cognitive impairment. Participants received either active magnetic stimulation to specific brain areas or a placebo treatment over several weeks. Researchers measured changes in memory and brain function to see if the treatment helped and how long any benefits lasted.
