Urine test could spare bladder cancer patients from frequent scopes

NCT ID NCT07511517

First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a urine test called BladMetrix can reliably detect bladder cancer recurrence in 500 adults with non-muscle invasive bladder cancer. Participants provide extra urine samples during routine follow-up visits over two years. The goal is to see if this test could reduce the need for uncomfortable camera exams (cystoscopies) and allow for more personalized monitoring schedules.
