Summary
This study compares two common heart medications (metoprolol and carvedilol) in people on dialysis to see which one better prevents heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, and death. About 2,540 participants will be randomly assigned to one of the two drugs. The goal is to find out whether the type of beta blocker matters for heart health in dialysis patients.
