First seen Feb 21, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special care plan called the Beating Lung Cancer in Ohio protocol can help people with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer live longer and feel better. It compares using targeted therapies and immunotherapies (which have fewer side effects than chemo) to standard care. About 3,500 current or former smokers with advanced lung cancer will take part.
