Summary
This early-stage study tests a new treatment for children and young adults with aggressive brain tumors, including DIPG and other recurrent central nervous system cancers. The therapy uses the patient's own immune cells, which are modified in a lab to recognize and attack tumor cells. These engineered cells are delivered directly into the brain or spinal fluid through a small tube. The main goals are to see if this approach is safe and possible to do, and to learn how the cells move and work in the body.
