First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether special air cleaners and ventilators can improve indoor air quality and help control asthma in children and adults living in low-income homes. Over one year, 80 households will receive either active or placebo devices. Researchers will measure lung function, asthma symptoms, and quality of life to see if these devices make a real difference.
