First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study compares two common blood thinners—aspirin and low molecular weight heparin—to see which works better at preventing dangerous blood clots after surgery for bone or soft tissue cancer in the pelvis or leg. About 2,868 adults who have had or will have such surgery will be enrolled. The goal is to find the safest and most effective way to prevent clots in this specific group of patients.
