First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study watches 20 adults in cardiogenic shock who need a temporary heart pump (IABC). Researchers want to see if the stiffness of the arteries changes how well the pump works. They will measure blood flow and other vital signs before, during, and after the pump is used. The goal is to help doctors decide who benefits most from this treatment.
