First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests if a new tool called a dual-flow arthroscopy sheath can replace the standard tourniquet during ACL knee surgery. The goal is to see if it reduces pain and complications after surgery. About 128 adults having their first ACL reconstruction will be randomly assigned to one of the two methods. The main focus is on pain levels four days after surgery.
