New numbing technique may ease ACL surgery pain without extra opioids

This study tested two different numbing methods for people having ACL knee surgery. Both methods were added to a standard nerve block to see which one worked better for pain control. 90 adults participated, and researchers measured how much pain medicine they needed and their pain levels after surgery.
