3D-Printed teeth fillings face off against milled ones in new study

Summary

This study tests whether 3D-printed resin crowns work as well as milled composite crowns for back teeth that have had root canals. Sixty adults will get one of two types of crowns, each attached with one of two types of glue. Researchers will check the crowns for fit, color, wear, and breakage over at least one year.
