New triple-drug attack shows promise against hard-to-treat breast cancer

Summary
This early-phase trial tests whether adding an experimental drug (ZEN003694) to standard immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) and chemotherapy (nab-paclitaxel) is safe and tolerable for people with advanced triple-negative breast cancer that has spread. About 57 participants will receive the combination to find the best dose and check for side effects. The goal is to see if this approach can shrink or stabilize tumors better than chemotherapy alone.
