First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 11, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tested whether a problem-solving program delivered by video calls and text messages could help young people aged 18-29 living with HIV stay engaged in care, improve mental health, and reduce substance use. Fifty participants from the East Bay area of San Francisco took part over 8 months. The goal was to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, with the hope of expanding it to larger clinics.
