Yoghurt study aimed to curb diabetes risk, but ended early

NCT ID NCT06836752

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tested whether eating yoghurt daily for 24 weeks could improve blood sugar control in adults with prediabetes (high risk for type 2 diabetes). Only 8 people enrolled, and the study was stopped early, so no firm conclusions can be drawn. The goal was to see if a simple dietary change might help prevent diabetes.
