Summary

This study tested whether using a virtual reality headset to do behavioral activation therapy (a type of therapy that encourages positive activities) could help people with major depressive disorder. 26 adults with depression tried either VR-assisted therapy or standard therapy. The goal was to see if the VR approach was practical, acceptable, and could reduce depression symptoms.
