NCT ID NCT05595213
First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether a wrist-worn cooling device can reduce the severity of hot flashes in adults. 27 people who had at least two moderate or severe hot flashes per day wore both an active cooling device and a placebo device for two weeks each, without knowing which was which. They recorded their hot flash severity in a diary. The goal was to see if the cooling device helped more than the placebo.
