First seen Jun 30, 2026 · Last updated Jul 01, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looks at how diet, physical activity, and sleep relate to body composition in women in Kazakhstan. About 200 women aged 20 and older will have a DEXA scan to measure fat, muscle, and bone density, and fill out questionnaires. The goal is to build a clearer picture of women's health in the region and guide future public health advice.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
What this could lead to
If successful, this study could provide the first comprehensive dataset on women's body composition and lifestyle in Kazakhstan, helping shape future nutrition and health guidelines.
What could go wrong
This is an observational study, not a treatment trial, so it cannot prove cause and effect. Results may not apply to women outside the Astana region.
