NCT ID NCT06715293
First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study tests a wireless capsule (HemoPill®) that people swallow to detect active bleeding in the upper digestive tract. About 193 adults with signs of bleeding (like black stool or vomiting blood) will take the capsule before a standard endoscopy. The goal is to see if the capsule can accurately identify who needs urgent treatment, potentially reducing unnecessary emergency procedures.
