New eye scanner aims to sharpen diagnosis of blinding diseases
NCT ID NCT07298174
Summary
This study aims to see if a new type of wide-field eye scanner (OCTA) can help doctors better diagnose and monitor a range of eye diseases. It will involve 200 participants, some with conditions like macular degeneration or diabetic retinopathy and some healthy controls. Researchers will compare images from the new scanner to those from standard machines to see if it provides clearer or more useful information.
