New eye scanner aims to map the full picture of vision loss
NCT ID NCT07298174
Summary
This study aims to test a new type of eye scanner that can take wider pictures of the back of the eye. Researchers want to see if this device helps doctors better understand, diagnose, and monitor a wide range of eye diseases that affect vision, like macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. The study will involve 200 participants, both with these eye conditions and healthy volunteers, to compare the new scanner against standard equipment.
