Study reveals what makes cancer patients change doctors
NCT ID NCT05102500
Summary
This study looked at why some cancer patients who get a second opinion decide to stay with their original doctor, while others switch to the new doctor. Researchers reviewed the records of 236 patients with breast, pancreatic, or colorectal cancer who got a second opinion at the University of Colorado. They also interviewed some patients to better understand their decision-making process.
