NCT ID NCT07472946

First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether adding whole-body vibration (standing on a vibrating platform) to a home exercise program helps people with Parkinson's disease improve balance, mobility, and fall risk more than exercise alone. About 68 adults aged 50-75 with mild to moderate Parkinson's will be randomly assigned to either vibration plus exercise or exercise only for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure balance, walking, and joint position sense at the start, after treatment, and 8 weeks later.
