First seen Jun 26, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether adding WhatsApp-based education and counseling to standard care helps stroke patients with type 2 diabetes improve their lifestyle, blood sugar control, and disease knowledge. 84 participants will be split into two groups: one gets routine education, the other also gets a four-week WhatsApp program with videos, booklets, and direct messaging support. Researchers will measure changes in diabetes knowledge, healthy behaviors, and blood sugar levels after six months.
