Weekly shot aims to ease back pain and promote weight loss

Summary
This study is testing whether a weekly injection called retatrutide can safely reduce chronic low back pain in adults who also have obesity or are overweight. Researchers will compare the injection to a placebo (a dummy treatment) in about 586 participants over 80 weeks. The main goals are to see if the treatment lessens pain and helps with weight loss.
