First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study tests a new insulin called GZR4 that is given once a week, compared to a standard daily insulin (glargine). Both groups also use a fast-acting insulin at meals. The goal is to see if the weekly shot works as well or better at controlling blood sugar, with fewer side effects. About 580 adults with type 2 diabetes who already use daily insulin are taking part.
