Digital workouts tested as back pain relief
NCT ID NCT07208435
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares a web-based exercise program to traditional home exercises for people with non-specific low back pain. Thirty adults aged 18-45 with moderate pain will follow an 8-week program using an app. Researchers will measure changes in pain, function, and quality of life to see if the digital approach works as well as standard care.
What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Web-based therapeutic exercise program
What this could lead to
If successful, this could offer a convenient, digital alternative to traditional home exercise programs for managing low back pain.
What could go wrong
This is a small, early-stage trial with only 30 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The web-based approach may not suit all patients or improve outcomes significantly.
