Stick-On ultrasound could spot blood clots and heart problems early

NCT ID NCT07009873

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study is testing a new wearable ultrasound sensor that sticks to the skin to help doctors diagnose and monitor conditions like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and heart failure in real time. About 300 adults with these conditions or those in the ICU will wear the sensor to see how well it captures clear images compared to standard ultrasound. The goal is to make monitoring easier and more portable without needing a bulky machine.
