Summary

This study tests a wearable sensor that measures muscle oxygen levels in high school and college athletes recovering from ACL or hip surgery. Researchers want to see if the sensor can give better data on when an athlete is ready to safely return to play. About 226 participants aged 14 to 30 will wear the sensor during rehab to compare their surgical and non-surgical legs.
