NCT ID NCT07379970
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether using a wearable fitness tracker, alone or with health coaching, helps adults aged 40+ with central obesity (belly fat) become more active and improve heart health markers. 133 participants will be split into three groups: one gets a Fitbit with coaching, one gets only the Fitbit, and one continues their usual routine. The goal is to see if these tools lead to lasting changes in movement, weight, and blood pressure over one year.
