NCT ID NCT00162474

First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at how genetic differences affect the way healthy adults process the blood thinner warfarin. Researchers will give small doses of warfarin and other drugs to 1000 volunteers aged 20-50 to measure how their bodies break down these medicines. The goal is to better understand why warfarin affects people differently, which could lead to safer, more personalized dosing in the future.
