Simple ladder and tap tests could spot early MS mobility changes

NCT ID NCT07505355

First seen Apr 21, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at two new tests—a walking adaptability ladder test and a foot tap test—to see if they can detect subtle walking and movement problems in people with mild multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will compare results from 100 participants (people with mild MS and healthy volunteers) to see if these tests are reliable and valid. The goal is to find better ways to catch early mobility changes that standard tests might miss.
