First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a portable VR headset can help diagnose and monitor traumatic brain injury (TBI), like concussions. Researchers will measure how the pupils of 150 participants (including TBI patients, healthy people, and other trauma patients) react to colored light stimuli presented through the goggles. The goal is to develop a non-invasive, objective tool for detecting brain injury without the need for advanced scans.
