First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether a relaxation technique called progressive muscle relaxation (PMR) can ease chronic pain, itch, anxiety, sleep problems, and fatigue in adult burn survivors. Some participants will use virtual reality goggles during PMR sessions at home. Researchers want to see if adding VR makes the relaxation more effective and if people find it easy to use.
